Kolhapur, a district place and a small city in the southern part of Indian state of
Maharashtra, is a place known more as an entry to Konkan, the western sea-shore of
India.
The city situated on the banks of river Panchganga, is famous for its ties to Maratha rulings in the Indian history.

Kolhapur, a type of hill station developed for tourism, the bus and taxis are available from
Kolhapur. A tourist should feel comfortable here staying and wandering in hilly treks.

India, it is reported that

Bombay.
